I’m going to assume that leaving the truck unoccupied for any period of time is against company policy. It wouldn’t surprise me if both of these guys are fired. I’m still a little surprised that there wasn’t better locks and security on the truck itself.

I’m with ya! This job had it all, just like yours. Until my company restructured and installed buffoons above me for supervisors. It’s changed this job completely. Don’t take anything for granted.

I’ve got a 2013 BMW 335 that we’ve had since before my son was born in 2013. It babies just fine and with the dinan stage-2 on it, it’ll happily kick out the rear in a neighborhood leaving power slide. Oh, it’s 9 years old, paid for, and has 62k miles on it. Not going anywhere anytime soon!
On one level, it doesn’t matter what work these kids were doing; they shouldn’t have been there. But if whoever hired them was willing to cross that line, it seems reasonable to assume the worst.
