“$2,495 per person; there’s also a three-day program that costs $6,395"
At first I thought that seemed like an ambitious pricing policy, but apparently it’s par for the (race)course One to One Driver Coaching | Silverstone
Things to do in Denver when you're head.
Agreed, how did I not know this was right here in NJ?! I even follow a lot of people in the urbex community, and still never saw a photo of it!
I wanted to get upset about that, especially because of his bad takes in the past, but unfortunately I 100% agree with him. The only time I ever took even a passing interest in GTD AM was when Dempsey was driving, and that was only because of all the coverage his team got which I figured would be good for the sport…
I went and saw it once, I have a few photos. Rough condition is saying thing nicely. I do wonder what this could have been auctioned for on ebay.
Hmmm The 50 cars will be ‘boring’ but the 12 cars will be ‘all that matters’. Right. In your small world perhaps. How bout you tell us the field and we decide what is and is not interesting?
I want to see a Type R. Yellow or not.
Plus leather/alcantara seats with full power and memory, ELS sound system, interior ambient lighting, frameless rearview mirror, full LED exterior lighting with fog lights, wireless phone charger, and liftback. The Acura name and styling also holds some value. It’s actually a really good value over an Si.
I want to see every Type-S in yellow
I was really hoping it would be a zero-cost option on the base trim, but I can see the internal machinations that wanted it separated from the manual-only Si
Obviously it would be nice to see on all trim levels, but compared to the past practice of making it an option on only the cheapest models, this is better. Its an enthusiast option so they put it on the enthusiast model. Take rate on lower series is probably near zero.
The upgraded interior is gonna be great for a certain subset of buyers — people who don’t necessarily need to show off luxury (it’s still a 30k car) but who want more comforts, amenities, and higher-quality interior touchpoints. Making it a liftback, too, adds a definite value proposition.
I like it, but I’m not a fan of hiding the manual behind a paywall.
so basically civic si that offers an automatic
feel this.
I already miss the weird, impractical stuff Torch used to recommend.
I, however, am not a good driver. I cannot be expected to safely drive a car that is RWD and I definitely cannot drive manual.
