Damn this sucks. Addiction is not easy and even 20 years removed I sometimes get the urge. I don’t know what part of my brain that is but it’s a forever battle. That being said I’m just a regular dude. I can’t imagine how much harder it is to combat addiction for someone in the spotlight. I wish him well and hope he…
That’s a good estimate but also feels too low since I have an almost 3 year old Elantra that I can trade in for what I bought it for if I don’t include taxes and fees. I love my car but it’s an Elantra! It shouldn’t hold it’s value like that. The car market is absolutely insane right now.
Yea I see the value of my current car and it’s so overvalued that I actually considered selling it but then I realized I’d be in the same boat with a new car so best to keep it and pay it off hopefully within the next year.
Every red light is trauma inducing. I had a Camry that had a slow leak so I just topped it up once a week because I was an idiotic/broke 21 year old at the time and kept it moving. Slow leak turned into full on say goodbye to all your coolant on the parkway one day coming home from work. Which wasn’t so bad because…
I’d love if that happened! I’ve always wanted a Golf R mostly because of the AWD aspect of it but have always been partial to Asian brands so if Acura made something in the same ballpark as that I’d be satisfied. Yes I know not a direct competitor since hatch vs liftback but close enough for me especially since now…
Yup. In the building I work in there are multiple companies. They’re all owned by the same family so basically it’s one company. The management of the biggest company is so horrible that they are losing people at a crazy rate and bitching about how they can’t find staff to replace them. Incompetence and nepotism…
Fair enough. And I’m sure it’ll grow on me but my first thought was this still seems gimicky. I’ll just have to tune in and find out if it’s better.
This was a great read. That’s definitely some impressive navigation with such low visibility. Can’t wait to see more pictures and hopefully have more writeups from the event.
This is G/O media so more like “Ten best ways to approach your roommate when they leave car parts in the dishwasher”
Jack sounds like the mechanic equivalent of the Farmers insurance guy. He’s definitely seen a thing or two to not be worried. Haha.
Nexus includes Global Entry? Where have you seen this because I’ve only seen it including PreCheck. I am planning on getting Global Entry next year so I’m curious if there’s a loophole I’m missing.
I’ve watched it a few times and can’t figure it out. Was he trying to get in front of the Ram? I’d like to see the continuation of the video to see if his rear was hit because at the 14 second mark it looks like it from how it jostles. Unless there was a pothole there or something similar.
Same here. I did watch his 8:46 special but that was more of a talk than standup. But beyond that I’ll just rewatch Killing Them Softly or For What It’s Worth if I need a Chappelle fix.
I’d say much nicer since the cargo version doesn’t have any rear seats. Haha.
I do like the Transit Connect but to get the functionality of the Element’s rubber floor you need the stripped out cargo version of it and at that point it’s way too utilitarian for me to pay 26k for it. Thankfully the Maverick now exists. When (if) the Maverick comes in an AWD hybrid I will gladly pay 28-30k for the…
Probably explains why I want one so much. I’ve been hoping for years that the Element would come back but now I’m like give me the Maverick!
