@Mekklesack: Don't I know it. I've been on the receiving end of a whole lot of awful, and I've nearly cut loose. But when the bpd isn't running on high gear, I really like this person. So I'm trying to make it work.

@Oleander: I just feel really sad at the thought of someone having no friends at all, because they've driven them all away. And if they have the self-awareness to know that, it just makes them hate themselves.

This kinda describes what it can be like to be friends with someone with borderline personality disorder. But that doesn't mean that it's impossible to be friends, just that it takes more work and really excellent assertiveness skills and boundaries. Sometimes these "energy vampires" have really great qualities too…

@Rooo sez BISH PLZ: for now, I am content to avoid flying to or through any US airports (I'm a canuck). I picked a vacation spot this winter based on flights with no US stopovers because of all this garbage.

I like them all except for xtina's lace-wrapped flesh mermaid thing. Sometimes fabric like that can look awesome, but this just didn't quite do it.

@mwynn13: I was surprised that the shoes weren't just different colours of the same shoe. I would think it'd be difficult to match two different shoes so they don't feel awkward...exact same heel height, toe box shape, straps, etc. That takes some looking.
