I dunno, it's a 1000 mAh pack and the iPhone is, what, 1450 mAh? That should get you somewhere near 50 - 60% keeping in mind power the pack needs to run itself and energy leaking.

I'm not disagreeing, but for a slight size increase, you can get, say, the iGeek with 9900 mAh. If that's too big, there are significantly smaller ones like the iCurve or many other super small small batteries that will charge you up three or four times compared to less than once. If you're worried enough about your…
That's nice and all, but 1000 mAh isn't going to get you very far. I suppose it'll charge about 2/3 of your iPhone battery? Nice design, though.
I use Sonos and have all my media stored on a Synology external RAID. I know that's a pricy combination, but with the crazy layout of my NYC apartment and the amount of wiring I'd have to lay out, it just plain works and it works extremely well.
I do! I have the Waterbag. It's incredible. Thing literally comes everywhere with me whenever I travel. It's built like a tank and I get more complements on it than I can say. Funny enough, I had just boarded a plane and was putting mine in the overhead bin when I noticed that the guy sitting next to me just put…
Reminds me a lot of Saddleback bags, which are some of my favorite bags ever made.
I went with the One X because I'm on AT&T and I travel a lot, so the roaming 4G and extra cities helped.
Bingo. Add one more. I felt the same thing - after an iPhone, iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4 I said "Time to try Droid" and picked up an HTC One X. iOS 6 didn't excite me at all and kind of left me thinking "What's the point and when did Apple stop innovating?"
This made my day. Thank you.
I'm gunna catch shit for this, but, despite what anyone says, Brooklyn is part of New York City. Just saying.
Most companies train their sales staff to train against the main selling points of their competitors. I wouldn't call this envy; it would just be bad business for T-Mobile to not make sure that their employees aren't trained and prepared to sell against the one major handset gap in their portfolio. For better or…
I'm a big fan of "Douchetastic Assfuck," which gets the point across.
Ignoring the reduced cost, lack of taxes, and often unavailable urban landscape with available, affordable apartments available to students, many students choose freshman year dorm life for the social aspect. Being forced, in college, to live with students of similar mental attitudes is often one of the most…
It's a single piece. If you look at the images, there's one alone in a box.
Makes sense and is pretty smart. I understand why folks use the key cards - it seems easy and you don't have to reset the key code every time you have a customer, but these automated systems seems to have enough issues to be a real pain in the butt.
It's most likely there for legal reasons, in case someone needs to access the room on emergency and the lock isn't working from the outside or the lock needs to be reset because of software failure. That's one of the problems with electronic locks - you can't just shove a key in it to open during failure.
Most cell carriers consider text messages to be free money. Having worked with many of them throughout my career, they're boggled with the fact that people actually pay what they pay for the right to send a text message, but are thankful because they make buckets of money off of it. You're absolutely right that SMS…
This is exactly how I felt moving from my iPhone 4 to my HTC One X. I love iOS. I love the iPhone. I had a Droid Incredible at one point that I hated - it was slopping feeling and just seems to get worse and worse. I used it in conjunction with my iPhone (iPhone for home, Droid for work) and the comparison of the…
It's pretty extreme, although, I'll admit, I don't mind it. It's like "SUPER ULTRA DAYLIGHT!" that steps down to "usable decency, wee!"
I use the SureFire E2D LED Defender. It's about the same in terms of power and size with the same ability to reduce the output for longer low-brightness use. I've had it for a few years and love it. It has a similar sharpened front bezel for blinding and stabbing would-be attackers as well, similar to this model.
