There’s a kit?? That’s amazing, and I’m impressed with your talented cat. I’m a crazy cat lady who loves my little furballs beyond all reason, but (bless their hearts) they aren’t the brightest.

I bought the kit that they sell at the show and I’ve trained my youngest cat to do several tricks. The show wasn’t exploitive for sure, the cats just kind of did whatever and sometimes it looked like a trick lol. Several cats just hung out in the audience or wandered backstage. It was great fun.

I don’t think there is cat exploitation happening in the show, because the cats seriously do whatever the hell they want. One cat spent the entire show running around the audience because he’s a cat and he wanted to. At one point he came on stage and the woman said “Wait! Act casual, maybe he’ll do something!”…

I went to this show, too, and it was really fun. Didn’t hurt that it was BYOB and I was with a bunch of friends. They def use the show to talk about adoption and to encourage spay and neuter and all that, and the cats seem very well taken care of.

My sister in law saw this show, and said it was actually pretty fun. I was worried about exploitation of cats and all that (I *remember* how sad Mark thought Grumpy Cat looked) but she said the woman talks about that during the show, and uses the show to advertise kitties who need to be adopted. I cautiously approve.
