Your lustrous shine, rosaceous hue
Forever in my head.
Your noble goal I shall pursue
And uphold in your stead.

…Yeah, fair enough.

I'd completely agree with you if it wasn't for "Keeping it Together." That does show her inner conflict VERY clearly. But, yeah, I'd be lying if I said she's absolutely the wisest character in terms of relationships. And, actually, the more I think about it, the more I realize that the most well-adjusted character in

…YOU'RE RIGHT.

More importantly, she's fully devoted to Rose.

…Hold up, that's right. Who said the Communications Hub was ANYWHERE NEAR Beach City? They can teleport anywhere! Why has no one brought that up yet?

Yeah, I know, but I also know that Rebecca Sugar and the Creniverse actively want to destroy our emotions. I'm betting that it went through.

Goooood. Use your depressed feelings, Rexwolf2. Let the sad FLOW through you.

…Friends of Peridot. Oh, God, we're not making it out of this week alive, are we?

Screw that! I'm not dying from this! Then I won't live to see more episodes of Steven Universe! I've got a StevenBombShelter built and ready to go. WHO'S WITH ME?

Two things I want to note:

Yeah, I'm going for magic cactus. That, or it actually WAS Peridot.

Oh, yeah, it was a massive bummer. Which is why we all liked it. Because, apparently, the majority of this fandom is composed of emotion-based masochists.

Well, it may also be resolved in the last episode, titled "Friend Ship." Either that, or (and this would be AWESOME) the "friend" in the title refers not to Garnet and Pearl's bruised friendship, but to the reveal of another Gem. And I REALLY hope that it's the latter.

According to Rebecca Sugar, if you can't make it through the other StevenBombs, this one'll be rougher. And those included learning about Pearl's affection for Rose in heartbreaking ways, seeing Garnet die (sort of), watching Garnet witness the horror of fusion-gone-eldritch, learning more about Rose and Greg, and

The resolution is probably gonna come in the form of tomorrow's road trip episode. Possibly. And, yeah, I thnk we're all waiting for the depressing shoe to drop.

She's beginning to fall under the dreaded "love interest" syndrome, without actually being anyone's love interest. She's supposed to be a protagonist, but she keeps antagonizing the characters that everyone likes, like Greg, now Garnet and Amethyst, and occasionally even Steven. Despite how understandable her actions

And, yet again, my respect for this cartoon grows even more. Seriously. This was heavy for a kid's show. Half the kids watching this started doing a live-action renditon of "Crying Breakfast Friends."

On one hand, I'm flattered that you remembered I hate that show. On the other hand, BURNITTOTHEGROUND.

I was somewhat partial to "The Friend," myself.
