Would be cool to give it a colonial viper livery...

I read this entire piece, waiting for it to get there. But there’s no there, there.

South Dakota was part of France more recently than DC was part of Maryland. So no, we are not already in Maryland.

It doesn’t make sense because that’s not what D.C. residents want. D.C. is not Maryland. It hasn’t been part of Maryland for something like 200 years. Why not make West Virginia part of Virginia? West Virginia was part of Virginia more recently than D.C. was part of Maryland.

D.C. residents are not in the state of Maryland.  They are in D.C.  D.C. residents do not want to be a part of Maryland.

DC has a bigger population than many states. I don’t know what reason you have to say they should just be consumed by another state, unless a blue region getting control of two new senators happens to be politically inconvenient for you...

From someone from France, that show is VERY American. However, my take on the Napiers is they’re in the home renovation business with a side of TV (and quite good at it), not in History, politics or activism.

in his 35 years on the force no one else has described him as racist.

I politely disagree. I am a total left wing democrat who lives in a very, very red village in upstate NY. Caledonia. Look it up if you want. I’m a transplant from a larger community close by and yes, it was very “clicky” at first, but after 20 years, I’d never live anywhere else. It’s great because the community

There was an episode that featured Erin’s uncle (and father of one of Ben’s friends who often do errands with him), and it showed that the uncle ran for some sort of office as a Democrat. I definitely get the feeling they’re more left leaning than 45 voters.

It broke my heart a little when I learned that he ran for a local government position as a “moderate,” but I suppose in rural/small-town Mississippi that’s probably the limit of what you can identify as politically. Not sure if it’s a reflection of his national politics, and he certainly doesn’t seem (from the show,

I love this show as a show. But, y’all - do not move to Mississippi. Alabama at least has Mobile. Georgia has Atlanta. Louisiana has New Orleans. Florida is three states in one and each has a couple of partially enlightened cities, plus beaches. Mississippi is a mess unless you really like to gamble. Now, now...I know

Honestly, I enjoyed it.. but I think they underpowered wonder woman quite a bit.. and made Supes overpowered..

Probably made of pencil sharpener shavings...

It’s a piece of art, relax...

The poetic (hopefully) justice that Merrick Garland is now ultimately in charge of investigating him.

No - the only way to remove him is impeachment.

This “slide show” technology implemented here sucks (and is obviously only designed to generate more clicks & load more ads) #Boo

As someone who is bored, and likes having fun...I take offense to this.

I’ve heard variations of this story involving raw shrimp and the curtain rods. The ending is always that the new couple takes the curtain rods with them when they move. I wonder how this would play out in real life?
