The memory has a tendency to make things look WAY better than they did when we got them.  I tried going back to the original Tomb Raider a little while back and... woof.  That game looks ROUGH.

The Link’s Awakening remake art style was great for that game, but I think there’s a lot more charm in this, recreating the original game’s graphics but shinier. It is immediately recognizable to anyone who played the original and I think it looks great.

Well this is a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to hearing a refreshed take on the forest maze theme, which still gets stuck in my head all these years later.
