Wild how much has changed in a decade. A decade ago (or so) BW was a powerhouse brand putting out banger after banger, with a brand so strong EA was slapping it on random studios like Bioware-Victory and Bioware-Mythic (both of which are now long-since shuttered, with Mythic becoming Broadsword).

There’s a difference between identifying with a character and projecting on a character.

They have been very good in a number of roles. His take on Barry Allen/The Flash is not one of them though, so that plus all his shitty real life issues definitely gives one pause.

Isn’t the general consensus on Ezra Miller is that they are a very good actor but a really shitty human? It’s not exactly a shock that their acting plus a team of creators with a very good recent track record would create a good movie. The reviews feel like people are disappointed they can’t shit on Miller as an actor…

Honestly this is too little too late. I’ve just not been feeling this “sendoff” to a failed crack at live action DCU. I can wait for video to watch this.

Between Greta and Baumbach behind the camera/on the script and the cast in front of the camera, I’m supremely intrigued. It’s definitely not going to be uninteresting. 

You have to admire the unblinking and unwavering commitment to just portray it in all of its ridiculousness.

Ran out of that one specific pink color from one specific manufacturer, but not a global pink shortage. You can do better than this.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the more I hear about this movie, the more I want to see it. :-)

Kuvshinov is a massively talented artist. Absolutely well known and has had many great gigs (most recently on the latest Ghost in the Shell). However, I've personally felt Kuvshinov's style unfortunately suffers from a same-face syndrome where the majority of designed characters look the exact same. 

I don’t watch poker, but damn if that wasn’t a nailbiting few minutes of video.
