That’s the kind of information I was looking for, because I didn’t know. I’m not from the PNW, and I’d never heard of it being known for Thai food.

It’s funny how there are still plenty of people who seem to enjoy holding on to that anger“

Not sure about the fried pickles, but the other things originated in those regions, or at the very least have deep, widely known ties to those regions. Deep dish pizza was developed in Chicago and is popularly known as “Chicago-style”. The origin of Tex-Mex is in the name.

That would be popular with the grizzlies for sure.

Is there anything different about Thai food there? The others aren’t based on ubiquity, but on origin/uniqueness, or else they would all be crappy Chinese food or McDonalds flavored. Unless Thai food actually originally came from Beaverton or Spokane or something and I just never knew.

So does everywhere. Is there something unique about NW American Thai Food?

Also, if they’re selling Thai chili chips in the Norhwest, what are they selling in Thailand? Pot chips? Hipster coffee chips? Grizzly Bear chips?

*that are willing to pay full launch price for one. I want one, but I’m waiting for a price drop or a decent game/peripheral bundle at the same price point. I think my time is coming within the next year.

I’m not getting a Switch until I finish my back catalog of 3DS games. It just moved one step further away.

The only words I know from the obscure Asian dialect my mom’s family speaks are the words for diarrhea, pee, etc. My uncle taught me, of course.

Going to finally play No Man’s Sky for the first time since launch and see what all the hype is about. I didn’t have the game in it’s original form; it was actually kind of relaxing, and I could listen to audiobooks or music while playing it, but it just grew really bland.

How do these compare to the FitDesks?

The quality of the effects themselves is above average, not necessarily better in quality than most superhero films these days, but the creativity of the scenes and the perfect realization of Steve Ditko’s trippy 50-year-old comic art is what earns it a spot on the list.

Your save file is a leaf on the wind.

Yeah, I haven’t played since a few weeks after launch, and if I hadn’t started a new save, I would’ve spent half my playtime last night looking up how new things work on Reddit. I might return to my old save once I figure things out.

Man, I wish I had enough money that I could blow $10,000 without noticing.

Yep, haven’t played since a couple months after launch. Finally excited to get to try it out again.

Plus you can save a ton of money!

My old roommate made all of his friends characters in XCOM 2. I made it to the final battle of his playthrough and died valiantly.
