American youth sports, in my experience at least, are very much like this. The problem is in college/pro sports where players can act like dickheads and they’re protected by campus police/administration or multimillion dollar contracts.

Of all the complaints I’ve seen about the movie, the bomb one is by far the dumbest. Star Wars has never stuck to real-world physics. It’s Fantasy in space. And as far as internal consistency goes, in ESB, the bombs drop out of the TIE Bombers onto the asteroid the exact same way.

I think his failures in this movie will create a more satisfying arc for him to become the new leader of the Resistance in IX.
