    But on the plus side, now you don’t have to worry about where you’ll plug in your wireless charging pad.

    Essential doesn’t have Samsung or Apple levels of project spending money. Why are you comparing a startup to well established market entities that own decades worth of production facility investments to one that didn’t even have a business license a year ago?

    Having a need to swim with a phone is even more ridiculous. Besides, waterproofing in all current phones still sees them corroded and damaged after a short while aubmerged or after a few years of ambient atmospheric moisture creep. It’s *essentially* a useless feature.
