No love for Malcolm Barrett?

Depending on the specific story, he could be back on Altered Carbon, hopefully.

Ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic word!

Absolutely. And one of the best things about the John Byrne run was really playing into this by having Clark be a very good reporter and one who earned his job.

Hey - he’s already only in the Medium Place, so he’s partway there!

People tend to forget how much modern interpretations of Superman comes from the movies. For example, Smallville was originally within driving distance of Metropolis. It wasn’t until the Superman came out that it was relocated to the midwest.

The monster truck cabs are really the highlight of every trip I take to the Redneck Riveria.

The actress might need more accent work - and I hope she gets it for next season, but the gross generalization of Earth locations felt equitable. Too many places in Arizona doubled as sites to shoot porn after dark and maybe I haven’t gone to Florida in a while, but monster truck taxis aren’t a thing. The American

Season 2 of DS9 is excellent and is unfairly overlooked.  Even Season 1, while containing a lot of crap, was better out of the gate than TNG.

I picked up on that latent racism too. I thought that was a great touch. Just the way you would expect that situation to play out, people unsure if they have to submit to this guy’s authority. And it also adds a layer to his 2015 answer of “no” when the TV lady asked if he thought racism played a part in marginalizing

I noticed that too and thought it was really subtle and well-done. There was probably still a lot of blatant racism in 1980, but it was the smaller, less obvious stuff (I live in Louisiana, and believe me that hasn’t gone away) that was more aggravating to deal with, precisely because it was so ingrained and not even

I could be wrong, but I think Tom Welling kept insisting it be put into his contract that he’d never be in full costume. He didn’t want to get typecast - good thing too, because he’d never have had the post-show career that he’s had otherwise!

And didn’t they have a full-on friggin’ Justice League by then? Which makes it seem wild that Superman wasn’t full formed by then.

No! He was the “Red-Blue Blur,” which has to be the absolute worst naming of any superhero show, ever, forever.

I’m glad someone else agrees 6 and & aren’t that good, but I’d put them over 5, which is a huge drop off for me.

I rewatched the series recently and the only way I got through the last two seasons was by visiting the seasons 8 and 9 comments sections. Now those are hilarious.

While 8 and 9 aren’t great, there are some really good moments. The second to last episode of the series (A.A.R.M.) is pretty great.

Worst case scenario: They’re giving Timon a girlfriend so Timon & Pumbaa don’t “seem so gay”.

99% sure she will be the shrew that Scar is toying with in his cave in the OG movie

I’m hoping she’ll say something along the lines of, “Simba? Gross, girl! Ain’t that your cousin?”
