Oscar Isaac’s weirdly stilted “I declare him...tobeanOUTLAAAAAAAAAAWis the real legacy of the 2010 Robin Hood. I never saw the film but it was all over the trailers and TV spots for some reason, and it still makes me laugh (Though not as hard as I did when I found out that was Oscar Isaac, which only happened like a

Sorry, I should’ve clarified. I was asking that because Jimmy’s comments about Lex and Clark in an earlier season implied that they were contemporaries.

The Family Stone achieved the impossible in making me root for SJP. As nice and liberal as the Stone family appears to be, they are to various degrees awful (except Luke Wilson’s character).

Glacially slow pace with a lot of filler and not enough story spread out over too many episodes...yep, I think she found her home.

In case you missed it all

I see what you did there, and I like it!!

I don’t think they want us to forget “F#ck Batman. Unlike the DCEU, the DC Universe isn’t desperately course-correcting itself and Titans is actually getting received pretty nicely.

Bell was amazing in that scene, I felt every bit of the heart break Eleanor did realizing her mother could change but didn’t for her.

I hope we meet Chidi’s family soon. we could get Uzo back too.

Though he does mention missing his mom’s back surgery because he had already promised his landlord’s nephew to help him with his new phone.

I have been thinking about this a lot too. All of Chidi’s flashbacks involving his indecision have been at school or work, or with friends as an adult... I hope they dig deeper into him in the next episode, if it will involve Eleanor knowing their secret...

Only thing I remember about Chidi’s family is that his “favorite meal” was some fish dish cooked by his grandma. So it seems like he has at least one good relationship with a family member.

I’m a lifelong Titans fan, so wrt/the new DCU show, I’m either the easiest pre-made fan/viewer to please or the fussiest “that conflicts with issues 33 and 67 in at least 3 ways” perfectionist who hates everything.

I actually was going to say this. Very sultry voice, I totally had a thing for her.

Also, he works for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  He should’ve been able to spitball some deductive-reasoning hooey about how he knew she didn’t have a dog because, I dunno, no leash callouses or dog hair on her clothes or whatever.

I mean...since you brought it up... Bio-Dome is technically a Kylie Minogue movie that the weasel also just happens to be in.

My favorite bit of D’Arcy Carden face-acting in this episode was Janet’s look of annoyance when caterer Michael stuck with his awful Australian accent when trying to intervene with Eleanor, despite her earlier trying to dissuade him.

Yes.  We all agree that it’s the chair.

Agreed - the only episode I really enjoyed immensely in the first half
of the season was the one with Blink’s powers going haywire (first post-pilot episode i believe).

I still think Skyler Samuels is the most comic-accurate mutant casting yet seen.
