How much time would it take to pop a tire during the first burn-out period?

A friend of mine’s had exhaust, Cobb fmic, Mishimoto oil cooler, and aluminum radiator. Could not go more than 5 minutes on a track (ambient temps in the low 70's). However my stock Veloster turbo (same engine as the Kia) would go 20-30 minutes in the Texas summer, no problem.

And COST. I have the 19" wheels on my daily driver Escape. I can get a set of 18" wheels and tires for the same cost of just the 19" tires. Which is what I will be doing when it is time.
