It has to be said.

My 5' tall mom says it's because "I feel like I'm on the ground, I like being up high so I can see."

Here’s the really enticing part: Car says that at the top of the range will be a 400 horsepower version of that inline six with two additional turbos driven by battery power. That’s right: four turbos, two of them electric. This reminds me of what Volvo is doing with their new Drive-E engine, so if this is similar,

That would make one hell of a Fiero swap.

This Fiat earned the nickname "The Beast Of Turin," and it's easy to see why. 300 HP out of a 28.5 Liter (!) inline-four in a car made in 1910. Just listen to it fire up. That's what fear sounds like.

or is it...

Not too bad, that is only like what? Three to four dumpster dives and one rooftop a/c unit's worth right?

What ever that black deathtrap thing was based off an MR-2, I want that one. And those old school OZ Racing rally wheels, beautiful.

I want to like Mini a lot, I really like the first and second generation Mini Hatch, but it is this type of philosophy that hurts me deep down in the feels.

Being down in central Texas I am really starting to feel left out of this whole ice drifting thing.

Sounds like a blast. Hopefully one of the 3 locals in Austin will join up.

Dear person that has to use the elevator to go down 1 level because the stairs make you tired, meet this guy.

"There's a certain irony that Mr. Musk complains about government intervention such as consumer-protection driven franchised dealer laws, yet Tesla wouldn't exist as it does today without massive government handouts."

Spoiler Alert: Jimmy Woods flies in and uses his R.O.B. to defeat all!

Hopefully they don't go all "Toyota" on the driving dynamics and keep that Mazda feel.

1986 Mazda RX-7 GXL, it was my first car. I got it used in 1997 with ~85,000 miles on it. It was LOADED; leather, sun roof, electronically adjustable suspension, A/C, tape player with a full equalizer, the 15" 5 spoke aluminum wheels (well 3 of them were) and a 5spd manual. It lasted 8 months and ran for 6 of them.

This will do.
