Yeah, Ayn Rand. Everyone I've ever met who's said he or she (almost always he, for some reason) admires Rand has eventually turned out to be a complete asshole.

I misread the headline as saying "Tommy Lee Jones," which actually makes slightly more sense.

What is his BMI? That should settle it.

Every online source I can find says he was born in England. His parents were immigrants, though.

Do you think she got Ru's "G-G-G-Gia" reference? Because, I doubt it.

"Hey Gia, drag kings exist. They are women that impersonate men. They are
not a new thing. “Drag” is not impersonating women. “Drag queens”
impersonate women."

"Veronica Mars" dropped 75%. Ouch.

Thanks for that!

I miss Cenac. And will miss Oliver. (I don't get HBO, but at least he's going to continue doing the Bugle podcast.)

Gad was bad. Hey, that rhymes!

Barely—Madrigal has been on once so far this year.

I remember it happening, but not the aftermath. Were there indications he actually had cheated?

Thanks, Obama.

I can't say I hated "The Muse." It was a disappointment, though I certainly laughed a bunch of times. But I've never seen it again.

AMoLaD is my all-time favorite movie. And yes, "Defending Your Life" does have parallels. I wonder if Brooks has seen it.

Oh—I thought he only starred in that. Didn't realize he wrote it, too. Haven't seen that one, either.

I'd place "Modern Romance" in the No. 1 spot, followed closely by this, followed closely by "Lost in America." "Real Life" and "Mother" are both solid. "The Muse" is just OK. I've never seen "Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World." Are there others? I'm drawing a blank.

Yeah, saw it in Huntington, on Long Island. I'm a huge Sharon fan, but she must have been having an off night, because she was a complete snooze. Disappointing. Jinkx wasn't on your part of the tour? That's too bad, because she was amazing. Alaska, too. Detox was also highly entertaining, if not quite in Alaska/Jinkx

If I recall it correctly, they do a "minstrel" number in WC, but they are not wearing blackface.

Is WGN widely carried? It used to be on my cable system (Cablevision/Optimum on Long Island), but it isn't any more (and probably hasn't been in at least 25 years).
