Congratulations. You have successfully exhausted someone with whom you disagree on the Internet. By default, you are the victor.
Don’t put words in my mouth. I never said if I would buy one under these or any other conditions. I’m secure and content with my shitty minivan, thank you.
Way ahead of you! I still have my “Celica XX” hatch logo I bought for my ‘85.
Thank you for this! That all makes sense, and the fairly recent dates on those make me feel like less of an idiot.
I think their point was: why is it that only people who had savings to spend are able to complain? Why do they get more of a say than renters?
Do you have an actual point you’d like to make, or are you just satisfied with feeling like the most clever person in the room?
I don’t know how to ask this without sounding like an asshole: when did “black,” referring to one’s race, become a proper noun?
THANK YOU
Wikipedia says the V45 in the original Interceptor lost sixth gear because going to chain drive are up too much valuable space? It certainly doesn’t seem intuitive that the shaft drive Magna and Sabre would have more compact engine cases.
VF750F? I have a VF750CD. I sympathize with your somewhat-arbitrary lack of sixth gear.
Wait, do you mean I would ask why the Celica didn’t come first, and the Supra didn’t spring forth from it?
As a previous MkII Supra owner, I hate that this question is absolutely worth asking.
Why didn’t they shorten the car by 6 inches (between the front axle and firewall) and call it a Celica?
It took me a minute to realize you meant the Toyobaru twins and not an undisclosed, pretty-heavily-modified 1986 Toyota Celica Supra.
I hate that this isn’t the most infuriating thing I’ve heard today. It might not even make the top three.
For a moment there, I was happy the WHCA uses quotes around “news conference.” Thank you for snapping me back to reality. They absolutely should have spread themselves out, especially when it was confirmed they were put together strictly for optics.
WHAT
I noticed how he was never referred to as her EX-husband, or THEN-husband. Fucking yikes!
If the officer was able to safely remove the firearm, why couldn’t he also take the keys the prevent Johnson from driving away (potentially) drunk?
