I don’t think all 3 are connected. I happen to live in the sticks and am just used to the power going out every month or so. Just like having a back up plan because we are going to be the last ones helped if there is any kind of disaster.

Good luck man. I ran into a lot of similar issues with my Scout and now know why folks swap modern drivetrains in old stuff. Just too damn much hassle. Moab or bust! Now have an S-10 just for the frame and the VIN tag, just planning on junking everything else, makes me less insane as the project goes on.
