Its only an investment if there is a possible return, what the site is finding out rather painfully is that they can't make money. They can say they are asking for a capital investment but its really a handout as those celebrities are never seeing that money again

Gotta love that screenshot, with the far right blow-hards unironically talking about trying to get a handout to keep their shitty website going. If you wanna worship capitalism you can't cry when you don't make money

I'll send you $100 if you open karaoke with Paradise by the Dashboard Light. Another $100 if you manage to finish it without your wife pulling the microphone away

Yeah. Sometimes we have an agenda which may or may not be followed, sometimes we end up going wildly off-topic as the conversation takes us. The last few Merve has been trying to get a little more structure/time management in them as there are some really long early ones

One of my favorite manga authors, Arina Tanemura, was at Anime-Detour a couple years back. I had known for 18 months that she was coming so of course I still forgot to bring any books for her to sign. After working the line at her table for 2 days there is a lull and I finally decide to ask her to sign the only thing

I had heard about the building thing and the house buying thing, I just never found the house to buy. I found all the show houses in Hateno, just no realtor to sell them to me

oh I don't care about spoilers much, especially in something like this where I'm running back and forth all over the world anyway.

I actually didn't find Tarrey Town yet, is it along the coast? I ended up heading inland from the lab though I did do the labyrinth shrine quest. I also made the mistake after beating the shrine to head into the basement and open the chest there which was probably my biggest "oh shit!" moment yet as 10 different

We went with cup cakes since we found that you can get a lot more servings out of cup cakes than a sheet cake. This is slightly more relevant if you have a larger wedding, we were a good 200+ people, if you have less than 150 its a toss-up.

This coming week is going to be tricky. I should probably make a push to finish Zelda as FE: Echoes is out now, and Utawarerumono comes out on Tuesday. I only have a few weeks to get through those before Valkriya Legends drops in early June so its looking to be a very busy summer for me.

After finally making my way up Akalla in Breath of the Wild I decided to do some wandering around and test out my Champion armor which I hadn't used yet. Actually seeing enemy health bars was pretty nifty, especially when it showed me some guys hiding behind a wall so I was digging it until I came over a hill and saw

Charging over $600 for the 3DO in 1992 is one of the most baffling decisions ever. Video games were still rather niche, your a mostly unknown company releasing your first system, why the hell would you charge an obscene amount for it even if it was technically superior to everything else?

I kinda want to be in a campaign where everyone is a Kenku. Being able to only talk through mimicry would lead to some interesting hilarity

holy hell someone actually listens to the Avocado Gamescast? I could have sworn we were only recording those for ourselves

That face indicator has been around for a few Tales games at least, they sometimes use alternate faces past those two if there's an especially quest relevant conversation but I don't know if that continues in Beseria

I think X-2 is the pinnacle of the MM X games. It really builds on what X started and has much better levels/bosses and doesn't go quite as overboard as the later iterations do. Only downside is that Shryouken is a far worse hidden move than Hadoken, if a mite easier to get

I stumbled into a Major Test of Strength shrine and after getting the Guardian down to its last mode (sit there shooting charged lasers at you) all my weapons were broken. I had to take the last 20% of its health off by running around it in a circle dropping bombs.

Its especially odd as he mentioned Spy Game by Tony Scott while skipping Ridley Scott's much more action-y entry for the year. I have some issues with the movie version based around trying to cram too large of a story into a film but it absolutely needs to be noted in the article

And of course, once again David manages to steal something of a victory after a rather underwhelming performance. I understand why the girls bet what they did considering their backgrounds, but I'm going to be so mad if it ends up letting David win.

That's how Harper Lee did go out. Only ONE book.
