I’m getting reeeeeally uncomfortable with how the show regards bisexuality. Jamal’s whole storyline after he hooked up with Alicia Keys was ridiculous. The flip flop scene? I could barely watch it was so cringeworthy.

The biggest issue I see with Empire is that no one involved with writing this show seems to be capable of letting storylines breath and giving them time to organically evolve. I am not saying they should be dragging things out like The Killing but to have Naomi Campbell’s character take over the company, kill her wife…
