The most recent completed season was a stealth sequel to RPM. Remember the end of RPM where they suggested Venjix survived? Judd Lynn did. Doctor K makes a couple appearances and Col. Truman turns up at the very end of the finale. The show went through the trouble of crediting the voice actor under an anagram up to

That definitely sounds like Johnny Yong Bosch. That doesn’t quite sound like Barbara Goodson at the end, though. And she’s the only person on the planet who can really nail Rita. Even all these years later, like at this live read of comic excerpts during Power Morphicon 2018.

Short of Robin Williams, there was nobody you’d rather have on a talk show. Like Robin, he was an anarchist but in a different way. Robin’s brain ran a mile a minute. Norm went in like a precision-guided missile with utter disdain for the format or the rules.

Something the national media won’t so much talk about is how he remained connected to Baltimore. Even as recently as this year, he was down here doing some stuff.

Ed Asner’s importance to labor cannot be underestimated.

I just want to make my Xbox think I’m in a different state. Maryland taxes digital purchases now, and that includes my subscriptions. :-(

So many typos. Is anybody proofreading?

Hi-ho, diggity!

Alex is rolling in his grave.

A real-life example of the upgrade/fuck go back meme.

The Big Huge Games team landed on their feet not once but twice after this but still, this guy fired my friends. Fuck him.

This movie deserves better than being released during a pandemic.

“I am Iron Man” was one of the great ad-libs and shaped the trajectory of the early MCU. Here are some suggestions from me...

Like the “no more guns in the valley” bit at the end of Logan, I’ll allow it.

I think his OCD, IIRC, was more like the straightening-out-the-stringy-bits-at-the-end-of-the-rug kind, not the Howie Mandel kind.

When he was on tour with the documentary about him, he had a sit-down chat after his Baltimore screening with Pat Sajak (who lives in these parts). After, he drafted Pat to take part in some physical challenges.

I said this in a Kotaku thread but Marc Summers. Serious. He has game show experience and he’s someone your parents know, too, from shows like Unwrapped. He’s trustworthy, credible and you know he’s not auditioning for anything because he has a good thing going with Food Network, Discovery and all that.

He says he recused himself from the selection process itself and I believe that. But he was still the EP of the show and he was the guy telling the guest hosts, some of whom were obvious candidates for the gig (like Aaron Rodgers and Mayim Bialik and LeVar Burton), what to do and how.

They’re going to need another run of guest hosts. I’m being completely serious here—I nominate Marc Summers. He has game show experience, trivia experience and, like LeVar Burton, he’s someone trusted by younger and older viewers alike. Remember, after that original run on the Double Dare shows, he went off to Food

LeVar Burton’s run was appointment television for me.
