Basic plan = no FS2. You have to pay for a plan about 2 or 3 levels above basic to get it. And you end up with 100+ channels you will never even consider watching. Somehow I convinced my wife we need to pay extra to get FS2 so I can watch an endurance race once a year. (It helps for TUSC races too).

Speedvision was one of the very few things on television that was best when it was new, when it was still finding it’s way, and when they were still just winging it with all the enthusiasm for motorsports they could muster. NBCSN is starting to get overburdened unfortunately, but when they are they at least put a race over on CNBC or one of their other networks that are actually in HD instead of FS2.

I wasn't willing to pay for the season pass last year and then the coverage was so atrocious I happily forked it over this year.
