MS needs to get Croc and Gex next.

Came here thinking I’d be sad that there would be a list of beloved titles and franchises that I wouldn’t be able to play on my Playstation ever again. Now I realize it’s a list of games and franchises that I have cared about less and less over time or the IP has simply died and probably wouldn’t be successful in

“The Last of the Last of The Last of Us-Remaster

Think only Ape Escape’s studio is gone-gone.

Apple+’s viewership is ANEMIC. Like, stock price affect-ingly bad. I think there’s a real chance they bail on the whole thing in the next 5 years.

Wish Sony would just buy the rights to Crash and Spyro.

Guess they’ll give Crash one more whirl before burying him wherever Banjo, Blinx, and Conker are.

There seems to be a misconception that Sony owned Crash and Spyro. They never did, they only published. To explain why Sony’s PS1 mascots aren’t owned by Sony: Naughty Dog and Insomniac had developer agreements with Universal Interactive. Sony saw Crash Bandicoot and Spyro and signed an exclusivity deal with

I liked season one, but something about season 2 didn’t click with me. I think the novelty wore off. It’s a shame though.

What does Nintendo own that they didn’t make themselves? All I can think of is Eternal Darkness (Silicon Knights) and Pokémon (Game Freak), and Nintendo only part-owns Pokémon, sharing it with the creator and Creatures, Inc.

And they’ll do absolutely fuck all with 90% of those franchises.

How will the porn parody manage????

The folks at Pepto Bismol must be going crazy.

You’re right. I thought about this as I hit post, but it kind of circles back to my main point since that is someone other than Miyamoto controlling second parties. The mainline Mario games have a lot of different elements and tons of variance in the types of game mechanics used, the characters introduced, and the

No, it’s a bad kids movie. I have two toddlers and have watched countless hours of kids programming over the last four years and I can assure you that not every kids movie or kids tv show is just mindless drivel that’s meant to sell toys.

As a dad to two toddlers I can confirm that there are countless awful kids shows/movies that are only good because they distract your kids for an hour or two and then there are a number of surprisingly decent kids shows/movies that can entertain your kids but also give them a fun story and characters that learn things

The new movie really feels like we got exactly what you’d expect from your first guess at “Illumination making a Mario movie.” It almost feels like a parody of what a Mario movie would be.

I don’t think it’s a direct comparison to The Last Wish, it’s more a comparison to the fact that there’s hundreds of goofy kid movies/shows that also have good storytelling and can be engaging for people of all ages beyond nostalgia-bait.

It's good the movie sucks, actually

Children deserve good movies, too.
