Okay, so the dead, unarmed civilian was sitting in his car reading Pushkin when a police officer walked up and shot him in cold blood. Right? Is that what happened? Of, did this rock star get out of the car with a gun and refuse to drop it when asked multiple times? Which is it?

What do you expect. This guy was sitting in his car quietly reading Mario Vargas Llosa when a cop simply walked up and shot him in cold blood. Any cop that does that is capable of anything.

Sometimes the police are in the right, and sometimes they’re in the wrong. Perhaps we should wait for the facts and understand the context of every incident before we begin this knee jerk condemnation of every single action taken by the police.

Perhaps the protesters and looters would garner a bit more sympathy if they waited for the facts to emerge before destroying all of their neighbors’ businesses.

You need to check your privilege, cis male. You have no right pointing out the hypocrisy of the regressive left. You need to respect their safe spaces and triggers, and understand how doubly oppressed they’ve been in their intersectionality.
