Well, to not be in favour of getting rid of weight divisions in mens boxing but to be in favour of ‘merging’ men’s and women’s boxing would suggest that a man beating the shit out of a women is regarded by you as some sort of triumph for your gender. I would technically have to agree of course. I mean, how can weak

“lynching is way higher on the list therefore more important”

It hasn’t taken much to draw you out has it. You are pretty contemptuous of women. Hey, I don’t judge you for that but I think you should maybe reflect on why you feel this way instead of indulging in these rather desperate attempts to justify how you feel. If you keep spending your time looking for external things to

“Going to keep watching football now, if that’s a hate crime now, call the cops”

“Yup, lynching is more important than cat calling.”

If by ‘more athletic’ you mean bigger and stronger in an absolute sense then yes. That is a fact.

“America seems to save the term for really big things.”

“women, in general, are less athletic than men. Sexist, maybe; hateful, no. This one is really a fact.”

Alot of men commenting here seem to think that anti-misogyny laws are anti-male laws.

“If you disagree with the First Amendment and what it contains, just say so.”

Thank you for the definition but it is not relevant to my comment.

“defending the freedom to be extremely offensive”

“as long as you are not explicitly threatening anyone”

“I personally don’t see any evidence that it is anything more than “white girl gone wild who’s a racist.”

“People always tell me I’m ridiculous for saying this but I truly think men are hardwired to respect people who maybe could beat them up.”

I don’t disagree. I’m not comparing Any Schumer to Chris Rock. Just comparing a technique used in stand up comedy. I have not been making a case for “hipster racism” comedy as an effective tool to subvert prejudice in society. I can see how people would say that she is just exploiting peoples bigotry for cash.

Discerning an attack on a stereotype from an endorsement of one can also be very difficult for some people. Someone who take things very literally, or has difficult with sarcasm/irony etc will generally not appreciate this type of humour.

This is generally done in an allusive or ironic as opposed to explicit way. That is where the humour comes in. (Like the dating mexicans joke.) You lampoon the stereotype by pushing it to a limit where it becomes completely absurd but still consistent with the ‘theme’ of the stereotype itself. If it were to be done in

“catering to racists and bro’ism alike”

“Are you still cool with calling out stereotypes of black people by a white person?”
