I don’t disagree. I’m not comparing Any Schumer to Chris Rock. Just comparing a technique used in stand up comedy. Discerning an attack on a stereotype from an endorsement of one can also be very difficult for some people. Someone who take things very literally, or has difficult with sarcasm/irony etc will generally not appreciate this type of humour.

This is generally done in an allusive or ironic as opposed to explicit way. That is where the humour comes in. (Like the dating mexicans joke.)
