And dragons are real. And a fade spirit turning into a real boy is real. And a dwarf being assumed into a giant lyrium heart to jumpstart the dwarven hive mind of old IS TOTALLY FUCKING REAL. But Dorian’s homosexuality is 100% breaking your immersion. Where do you live that you see these things?

I mean running a successful business and I mean REALLY successful business does require a certain ability to shut out being empathetic. I’m not saying all CEOS are ruthless psychopaths - a lot aren’t - but most will not stick their neck out for people if it means they will have to sacrifice the bottom line/ I think

I saw that and was like “What’s this? Is this this Great British Bake Off everybody flips out about??” and started watching it. Cue to me non-stop watching at 3am and being unreasonably angry about Paul’s disdain over Norman(even though he did really kind of suck).

That’s controversial? I mean I thought it was a given. Like Blood and Wine is great. And the location is BEAUTIFUL. But the story-line was so much tighter in Hearts of Stone and it had the added bonus of one of the best video game villains ever.

Mattel gutted the line. They retired the historical dolls and focused more on the custom ME dolls - which Pleasant Company had put out later. They returned Samantha I think and Addy is still around - but the rest are more “modern” (20th century) girls. So Felicity, Kirsten are retired. The focus is less on education

Yes! Uncle Gard and Aunt Cordelia(WHO WAS A GREAT BEAUTY - so said Samantha’s book) and I remember Uncle Gard being so daper. I loved her books. Also it’s really disappointing the direction Mattel took with the dolls. They were pretty educational and actually heavy on the issue(s) that were at the doll’s story. So

NELLIE! So I had the Samantha doll and had like EVERYTHING which included the little play that Pleasant Company had put out for that doll. My friends and I actually did a little kid stage production of it in my friend’s backyard. It was fun. But the play itself was about Nellie and Samantha advocating for child

Tumblr shipping is OTT. Like...they will ship every character with every other character in a game. Oh hey - that NPC in the corner of that building during that ONE scene. You better bet there is a ship for Protag x NPC #70000

You have a game/movie/comic. You have two slightly attractive men interact for 2 min., 20 min., are good friends. You will have people shipping them. I don’t know what else to say about it. It’s yaoi, it’s everywhere. He’s not UNATTRACTIVE. He’s pretty charming and affable. And Link is a cute white guy. So...you

That’s interesting. I think most consumer reviews are worthless. Just completely and utterly unhelpful in terms of opinion. I only really take them into account when talking about technical issues i.e. a lot of people reported the same weird error which even free users would see. I don’t think people who pay are

This. It’s like - everything else in the game uses environmental clues. I think just the weird music and the red sky was enough. I assume though it’s used as a way to load the re-spawns. It may have been difficult to just have them pop back up while you were out in the world without loading.

That is why I totally forgot it was still on the air and am now surprised to see it’s still going.

This is Blizzard. The King of HIGHLY supervised and controlled walled gardens. They want you to play their games a very specific and certain way and they will use a stick to get you there. In some instances I think it’s for the best - like in WoW with people abusing the dungeon finder mechanic even though it can screw

I haven’t had any. It may be because of where my tv is and how I sit and where the dock is though. I have a open faced(???) entertainment console. So I just put it on the shelf below the tv and I have had zero issues. A software update could fix it if it was an issue with how it was connecting - but it seems that

Hearts of Stone will wash all that away and replace it with new upsetting choices for you to go “WTF IS HAPPENING HERE”.

It’s definitely more punishing than any other Zelda game I’ve played. Which I was unprepared for when I got to my first boss fight. Just...bring lots of defense and extra heart food. I would recommend keep a few on hand in general. But I die way more to “Stupid” than I do to anything else. I’ve blown myself off the

The only thing the WiiU didn’t get was the special editions. Everything else is replicated across both consoles. The consoles are ostensibly the same - the Switch being a little more powerful so beyond just screwing over the people that bought the WiiU for the zelda that finally came, there is no other reason not to

It’s a well-polished Blizzard game that has a much easier barrier to entry than a lot of other shooters and multiplayer games. For better of for worse - Blizzard is the king of the well polished, accessible experience. I have never seen an MMO run as well as WoW does. It just works. Doesn’t mean it’s the best(and

Yeah - I was like - wtf is this shit when I saw the front page picture. It’s so weird seeing the SNES versions of Disney games(I had Sega all through and one of the only people I’ve ever known to own a SegaCd/Genesis hybrid console) - it’s like seeing the Russian knockoffs of Disney movies. Or vice-versa.

This. I am actually impressed that it fits in such a small thing. I got to go to one of their city events and it’s like holding a Kindle Fire. It’s so small - which is weird for the party games and like 3 people sitting around it- but for just you, really neat.
