Yeah, holy crap. This article is woefully misinformed. The linked announcement talks about adding End Cities, but not The End. And it mentions the addition of Dragon’s Breath, but not the End Dragon.
Wait I thought the End was already on the consoles? The Xbox One edition at least last time I checked.

I think it has more to due with the fact that in most stores you can cancel pre-orders as opposed to pre-purchasing it digitally on a closed ecosystem, it use to be that sometimes if you pre-ordered something from gamestop they would give you a code to a digital offer on your pre-order receipt which you could go…
