Both games are about evil spirits (aka ghosts, demons, etc) and strive for that famously creepy factor that film has so massively popularized for decades. So, yeah! Both games copied what many horror movies have already done long before either of these games existed.
I played the demo and was quickly bored. Granted, it a small budget studio that developed Section 8, but it just seemed a bit too cheap to me.

Wondering: Could that camera be some sort of depth perception cam (similar to Kinect's) that might allow it to measure the distance from the controller to the onscreen characters/objects and thus be used as a motion/depth/handheld controller hybrid?
