My advice: the grass is rarely greener. While Apple devices are my primary ones, I use Android/Windows (Surface) daily, and they all have their problems.
So much this. People complain about the explicit costs associated with Apple’s ecosystem, choosing to ignore the implicit costs of handing so much of their personal data over to Google. Their free software and services are merely a honey pot at this point.
I was so unhappy with my iPhone 5C that I actually seriously considered moving to an Android device. Then, I realised that I LOATHE Google and that I truly believe that it produces only half-baked crap. Nothing that Apple has ever done to annoy me has ever made me angry the way that Google’s junk does.
Who do we switch to when we all hate Google?
