I like how McConnell's biography (or… a book written about him) is titled 'The Cynic'.

Most don't even have the ability to [have their staff] read it. I'd think any senator with principles would vote 'No' for that reason alone…

I was listening to a history podcast… walking around like a chump… and the presenter was talking about why a congresswoman would be attracted to LBJ and his various charms. Out loud I said 'Yeah and he's also got a big ass dick!'

The twist at the end of Ex Machina lampshades a lot of the weaker parts of the writing. It's a sly and canny move, but it still pissed me off.
