Why hasn't Akroyed tried to do a 'Sneakers' update? That seems up in his paranoid wheelhouse. Not like, a direct reboot, but another 'misfit ensemble contemporary techno-thriller thing'. He could cast himself as the bloviating media straw man or something. Like 'Now You See Me' and 'Spartan' had a baby.

It was pretty shitty, and he hijacked 'Lawless'… but he did good work in 'Fury'. I thought there was going to be a lot more of him doing character actor work. His filmography is mostly shit, but he's a good actor. I guess he's going down with the 'conceptual artist' ship.
