I don't know why I keep my classic rock/adult alternative radio station on for so much of the day (even as background-background-background noise). I think it's because after the shitty milquetoast version of Morning Zoo crews make casually offensive remarks and awful overplayed songs are broadcast for the millionth

Note: This piece was originally posted when the AV Club still allowed a certain image cite's links. The post is now pending moderation because I fixed a typo. I'm editing an older comment of mine (today's March 21, 2015) to reupload of this as a back-up. It's not great, but I felt like saving it, just to be safe.

Hey, glazo. Do you have an e.t.a. for that Irish Folk piece you were writing? You can post it on the board whenever you're ready; I'll try to keep my eye out for it.

So, wait, the dad becomes the murderer and the murderer is actually a hero for taking everyone out of the show, but Smarf can't self-destruct the show in time so it all gets rebooted and starts again? Also the show uses The Brak Show's establishing shot music? Alright.

I only started watching the show recently, but it's great and needs more love. It's beautiful that Andre jumping out of a trashcan and screaming "Welcome to Hell!" at random strangers isn't even the funniest part of the first episode.

Here's a reupload of an article I wrote back when the AV Club allowed the links to or mentions of a certain image site. I already tried reuploading it early today (March 21, 2015), but I mentioned the site, so that was put into pending, too. This piece isn't great, but I decided to edit an worthless older post because

Someone's Neftlix review of Encounters At the End of the World:
"I was so looking so forward to this documentary and ended up being so disappointed by it. Werner Herzog's European valley girl accent was a distraction at first and quickly became annoying. In fact I found the majority of his "encounters" annoying. The

So I'm starting a film club thing at my local library, and I'm trying to think of a couple of good films to start out with. Accessible enough, engaging, something some but not all of the people there would have seen. Annie Hall is a strong contender for the first one I'll show, but some other suggestions would be
