I’m sure Disney is so glad to have such loyal customers like you defending them, great work! Yes, I’m sure the theme park and Star Wars enthusiast that goes out of her way to do obscure themed experiences was secretly hoping that her experience at the Star Wars LARP hotel would be bad so she could write a scathing hit

The big difference is that Patrick doesn’t have a personality (this is overly inflammatory given that I like Schitt’s Creek and Patrick but he mostly exists as an object in David’s orbit while Ben has clear wants, needs, and relationships outside of Leslie)

The best part was when the inn keeper didn't realize he was trying to but information and just thought he was a big tipper.

1. This was an amazing movie, and it’s just flat out hilarious. Andy Samberg plays everything so straight it’s amazing, and the reaction of everyone around him makes the movie.

Ross Geller is one of the most toxic characters to have ever been on television, and we’re supposed to think it’s cute. Or at least funny enough for the entire show to have resolved around shipping one of the worst couples ever.

I’ll be the first to hop onto the “Friends isn’t nearly as good as you remember” train, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was awful—well, not the first four or so seasons, anyway. It was a competently written with a charming and likable cast that was a clear cut above the Caroline in the Cities and Suddenly Susans

Pretending for half a second that you’re being sincere and not trolling, Blackish is about a black family and has shown white and Asian people (at least) exist in LA. Friends is about a friends group in New York City who seemingly almost never interact with Latinx, black, Asian or any other minority group despite NYC

Could not agree more that this show is overrated. Its huge popularity on the streaming services is baffling and upsetting to me

1) Saruman and 2) too soon

Yeah I seem to remember the zeitgeist being that long was annoying and hodgman was endearing

Stick with it. The first few chapters of The Fifth Season take a little settling into (particularly that use of direct address), but the jumpy narrative calms down, and it’s a rewarding read.

Hot take: Miles Vorkosigan is Tyrion but better.

Not to mention being cruel to Brienne just because the writers could. Create happiness to destroy it. They could have had the same ending with him just sneaking off after the ice zombies dropped.

Honestly maybe even worst served than Dany’s arc was Jaime’s.

What in the seven hells was Jaime’s plan? Did he seriously want to run back to Cersei, even when it was clear she hired a hitman to kill him? The framing of their death being tragic was really weird.

Are we gonna pretend Jon would be a great ruler? His leadership positions ended in either him abdicating or getting murdered. Dude never won a battle himself.

Mirri Maz Duur plays a mean long game.

Yeah as crazy as that battle was, the way this all played out means that everyone spent eight seasons screaming about “Ice zombies!” and then it turns out the Army of the Dead was completely annihilated in a matter of hours because they have a pretty glaring Independence Day level weakness. The Great War was only one

Glad to see military genius Jon Snow once more lead his forces into certain doom, only to be saved by someone not under his command.

Just wait to hear about how Superhero movies are the only thing Hollywood makes and how they want it like the good old days when Hollywood just made Westerns.
