@anders.jiang: Being an aviation enthusist, I know of China's copying ways, but that is more of a cultural thing. Copyrights are not something they do. Someone has a good idea, everyone copies the heck out of it. It is just their way.

$50 000? That is it? Throw $5M at them, and make sure it hits the market within 3 years. The electricity savings alone would be worth the extra $. Imagine the royalties they would get from this technology.

@Gimmi Mørgäikkönën: People need to get over the window thing. On widebodys, they are often laid out 3-5-3, the 5 has no windows. Turn the plane into a flying movie theater, put big OLED screens on every seat, and offer new on-demand HD movies. Just lower the costs, people will get over the windows.

Thank god the iPhone 4 is not available in Canada till July 30, I would have had one already and be stuck with this lemon. I will wait for the iPhone 4GSXLAWLz.
