Does that actually change anything? Now instead of paying to bet on the current pack, you’re paying to bet on the next one. It’s betting with an extra step and that extra step cost money. People who can wait the 18 hour timer are not the people with gambling issues in the first place that these kind of changes are

Cool, then don’t ‘couch game’ with your buddies if you are so worried.

We were all affected by Covid. In the US we are fortunate enough to have decent distribution of the vaccine. Regardless of your political or scientific beliefs if you live here, you’ve had the opportunity to get it.

Just because one thing doesn’t

As a 5'4 man myself, it’s really nice to know that body shaming bodies like me is still acceptable, and that being short is still shorthand for less of a man. Thanks everyone!

this article is dumb. honestly...ask yourself a question...when you go home for thanksgiving and tell your family what you do for a living...do you actually think they’re proud of this....

I could play them on PC, but that’s not my preferred gaming platform. I’d much prefer to play them on a handheld device.

What sort of accountability are we looking for, exactly? This is a common theme on Kotaku for the last 5 or so years, but I’ve yet to see a proposal regarding what you’re wanting the devs to say. “Yes, our game about climate refugees shooting each other in the face is political” - and then what?

It is literally a game about displaced refugees shooting each other in the face after massive climate change lol”

I mean cant it just be a game about shooting people in the face? Who cares.

im a sanders supporter and self-styled democratic socialist. To me, a guy with platinum chains and $600 t-shirts doesnt seem to be practicing what he’s preaching. to me i just see a fake dude using the title “socialist” to get views.

I never owned it, but rented enough times to beat it lol. The video store we rented from even strapped the player’s guide to the case!

Gotta disagree with you on this one David, which is rare. Looking at the more extreme examples of this, there’s no way that driver can see anything in front of them, and if they were to rear-end said car (or kid or even adult) that they can’t see they would end up directly on top of them. Not only is this a visibility

Sorry, David; but pointing out that modern SUVs and trucks have visibility issues out of the factory cannot be a defense for making those issues worse with a modification. The motivations may be bigotry or general assholeness, but that doesn’t negate that they may be on the right side of the argument just for the

It’s a pretty clear safety issue. I’m not sure what the argument against would be. The front bumper on most lifted trucks are pretty much a safety issue already when they don’t meet the bumper of another vehicle but this takes it to another level. Also your looking up in the air and not the road from the drivers seat

If you can’t figure out what the safety implications of not being able to see over the hood are, that’s your defect, not ours.

“We did stupid dangerous shit in the past and managed to survive and therefore we should never ban stupid dangerous shit” isn’t really a coherent argument.

1. Driver visibility.

You need empirical evidence to prove the driver can’t see what’s right in front of him at a stoplight? Or that his headlights are useless at night?

So she entered a pageant and/or attended some weird debutante event. Is there any indication that she was aware it had a racist history? It may be hard for some on here to believe, but googling the damn thing wasn’t an option in 1999.

Certainly this has nothing to do with not having anything to announce or with Activision gutting the departments that might handle this sort of thing

Oh, yeah, wow. I didn’t even think of OWL. Gotta say though, I hope they don’t start balancing the game just for OWL. I think one of the best things about Smash is that they never balance it just for top-level play (despite much consternation!) because the game is for everybody.
