Sorry but you can't just strap a bunch of fireworks to the world's tallest building, ask Bollywood if they have any CDs left over, then call it a day. Looks cool for the first few minutes, but then it's just the same thing over and over...quite impressive looking at it on that huge structure but the fireworks are drab.

I was thinking this earlier, actually. There's something really nice about complete consistency in the design aesthetic. It was part of HTC's intention a year or two back, after they have burgeoning range of phones. Seems to be working well.

I like HTC's approach this year. Design a really awesome phone, and scale it up or down to satisfy people who like small, big, or medium sized phones. Better than having half a dozen cheap plastic things that come in various shapes with no unifying brand-wide aesthetic.
