Someone ought to show that to Jill Stein.

Are you sure you’re not a Fox News anchor?

Is it possible that being a clueless right-winger retards the aging process as well as the mind?

The press has no constitutional duty. It has a constitutional right (the First Amendment). It does have a moral duty though. And that’s to give no oxygen to lies.

Refusing to attend is voluntary; being “shut out” is not.

Fuck the appearance of journalistic “objectivity.” Objectivity has a liberal bias. Why be afraid to show it?

I’ve noticed a troubling tendency recently among progressives to legitimize — and even refer nostalgically to — Dubya and his presidency. As if the speaker is trying to establish their non-partisan objectivity while highlighting Trump’s abnormality by contrast.

Given that the White House is now the epicenter of the fake news industry, why should the media even attend WH briefings anymore?

Stacey Dash is 50?

Have you noticed that none of those five people have proved me “silly” by citing one example of a progressive movement in this country that achieved its goals through violence? So, actually, maybe you’re silly for what you posted.

Yet another straw man argument?

To all the damn-the-torpedoes revolutionaries out there suggesting, without actually saying so, that violence is the best means of resistance, consider why you’re so reluctant to come out and say it. Perhaps because saying it loud and clear would expose its inanity?

No . . . as opposed to all the change enacted by lazy straw man arguments. Who said a word against “heavy handed and well-organized civil disobedience?”

Apparently, I’m not the only one who finds it “hard to think of a progressive movement in this country that has achieved its aims through violence.”

Thanks for underlining my point about non-violence by citing the philosophy of MLK.

So because Trump is gonna Trump we don’t need to decide what the most effective course of action is to defeat him?

Huh? Nothing suggested I thought it was brave. And it’s the least controversial stance possible. It’s more like textbook rationality.

I’m not sure violence is the way to play this. It’s hard to think of a progressive movement in this country that has achieved its aims through violence.

Every time you point out flaws in the Times’ coverage it gives ammunition to fake fake-newsers. So please stop doing it.
