@MisterStegs: I don't think I'd trust a waiter enough if that could happen. While the 100000% increase in the past few years of "gluten intolerance" might have provided more options for actual sufferers, it also leads people to take it less seriously.

Especially with articles like this savings are only temporary. Cable companies will raise rates and/or cap bandwidth and content providers will raise prices.

@waters7: Saying that your physiological and mental performance is identical whether you are eating or fasting is nonsense. You're not going to undergo brain-death without a donut, but it will make you feel a lot better.

@Ashwin Mudigonda: It doesn't make sense since they aren't border guards. State law probably requires them only to accept certain forms of ID to verify age. (Strangely in my state a state ID won't even work; you'd need to buy a special "Liquor ID".)
