This is why there is a pretty big movement in the business world away from data-driven decision making. I think the idea is that Octopath is also a game that “looked” great but when actually playing it quickly devolved into a slog you have to repeat 32 very similar times. So not the best sign for the next game if the team is the same team that focused more on nostalgia-inducing visuals than creative and enjoyable RPG…
