What ultimately gets consumers to buy a console is exclusively licensed games. It's why consoles continue to flourish. If not, most of us wouldn't buy a console. We'd get every game on Steam. So if Xbox One gets exclusives that everyone is excited for, that's a system seller. Will have to wait and see.

Looks aside, the PS3 announcement and launch was pretty much a disaster. Quite the opposite with the PS4. Although it hasn't actually launched yet. It has the most buzz. The Xbox One is ironically where the PS3 was when they announced it.

You can no long charge 60 bucks for Arcade style games. You know, old school style games that have simplistic plots and enemies that repeat and the game takes 3 to 5 hrs to beat.
