As someone who was there -What some people can't grasp is that the original Star Wars films were for everyone. Children and adults alike. It touched everyone and made a lasting impact. Why would we expect that again with the prequels? Gee, I dunno :P

The first 3 were amazing. The problem is the series peaked with 3. The build up was such that the story arc climaxed and was very satisfying. Where do you go from there? A prequel? Yeah, they did that and it was alright, but it felt like the series was out of gas, since we already knew the ending of the overall story…
