The mysterious/eerie atmosphere to it and the like someone pointed out the juxtaposition of goofiness but something serious playing out is really compelling. Great ost and sidequests as well.

Not sure if I would rate MM above OoT, but I competely accept when someone does. It’s a great game and the fact that it’s a follow-up to, at its time, greatest game of all time and still delivered makes it an impressive achievement. Also kudos to the sidequests, they were really great.

I love the fact you ranked Link’s Awakening so highly. I agree, the only one that might surpass that one is A Link to The past. LA’s gloomy, eerie atmosphere compels you in a way that no other Zelda game does.

Got my hands on a mint-state copy of the game half a year ago. Unfortunately haven’t had a chance to play it but based on what I am hearing it’s a cult-classic. Glad to have been able to add it to my collection.

But if people stop pre-ordering and digital sales increase won’t that lower the amount of physical copies printed, making them scarce and in turn create a need for pre-order?
