So, I read the article about his tweet, then saw where frat bros were yelling (allegedly) “NO MEANS YES” during the Lincoln march. What the fuck, you motherfuckers. I know we ladies are largely non-violent but I am not above giving some shitweasel an elbow to the nose—because no means yes to a beatdown.

Along with calling your Reps, I’d say start writing letters to editors of newspapers and media organizations all over the country. Call in, email them, start petitions. Beg and implore them to have their journalists dog the White House on the irrational and frightening information blackout and related policies. We

That is not enough, even if you win by 3 million. Work to change laws. Work for a party. Volunteer if you can’t. Gather all your sensible conservative relatives and acquaintances (I’m sure such people exist) and persuade them to do the same for Republican party. Act up, if you won’t, some racist shithead will.

Right on! If we don’t get it back in 2018, we might never get it back. The stakes are that high.

I imagine that there will be massive lawsuits against these type of actions in all the governmental organizations. For example, an area in which there is pollution and the EPA fails to take action, then the city or country or state can sue them. States may be able to take up the slack and regulate businesses, so

As someone that has volunteered for two presidential campaigns I always find the allegations of Democrat voter fraud comedic—

Call your congressmen. Call them frequently. PUT THEM UNDER PRESSURE. Make them understand you are not happy.

What can we, as citizens, do about stuff like this?

I was so keenly aware of that while I was at the women’s march. The police presence there was extremely friendly. They high-fived marchers, sang songs, smiled and said hello. I don’t think for one second that they would have been nearly that friendly to a march comprised mostly of black and brown people.

I think you have touched on a really good point; that they can use this to suppress free speech. If people fear that it will cost thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars to protest, then protest and free speech is suppressed. It’s one of the arguments that the ACLU or other like minded organizations should

There is a Planned Parenthood right down the road from my work. One day a protester there had the nerve to walk to my window while stopped at the traffic light.

Doesn’t Minnesota have a democratic governor? I’m guessing that it will be vetoed.

At last count, 4 journalists have been charged with felonies for being in the wrong place at the wrong time during the Women’s March. That’s not a good thing.

1. Stupid people didn’t vote. 2. Stupid people voted.

They should also read this if you live in Minnesota (everywhere, actually)

Fuck! How have we gotten here??? Why has this happened? I’m terrified.

Can you imagine the police showing up dressed like they’re heading into Iraq to tear gas and arrest white women in knitted pink hats? White America would lose its shit.

And the police will claim that all protesters are blocking traffic in any situation, in the same way they always accuse people of resisting arrest when they are beating them.

Amazing how the very same people who screamed the loudest about upholding the constitution under Obama are the same ones eagerest to take a dump on it under Trump.

“If you violate the law, if you block traffic, if you block access to a building, and if you are a black/brown person, that’s what this bill is for.”
