I was very much impressed by the quality and diversity of speakers at a number of events. So much thought went into this, to make everyone’s voices heard.

Just chiming in with my support. I wasn’t able to march myself but I am so so proud of the solidarity women showed today, all over the world.

I’m so proud of everyone who went to the Marches! It was a great example of grassroots organizing. I know there were some rough spots in the planning, but I love how everyone worked through them and put in a lot of effort to make sure they were inter-sectional, inclusive events.

Exactly! I’m pro choice, but for me I don’t know if I would ever have an abortion. I don’t know if I would be comfortable with it. I’ve been arguing with someone over at Kotaku, who says you can be both pro-life and pro-woman. But I try to point out (unsuccessfully it seems), that while you can be personally against abortion, as soon as you want to take away a woman’s right to have one, then you are not “pro-woman”.

My argument has always been that pro-life is your choice. The choice of others is none of your damn business. If you want the right to choose life, you have to be prepared to let others make their own choice.
