Sadly, the Century has a 3100. A pretty decent engine, if you can fix the gasket issues, but nowhere near as nice as the 3800. And I say this as a Century owner.

I drive a Century, and I can tell you, if you want a sleeper, get you a Regal of the same generation. Exact same car except for some plastic body cladding and a console shifter, and a 3800 instead of a 3100.
