I agree with you but I also think that, besides age the type of doctor that they are could even be a bigger factor. Primary care and what might be considered “eveyday” doctors are probably more in favor of Medicare for all than the specialists that are more in it for the money.

Last 3 Saints games:

Let’s be honest, they’ve been perfecting the response for years: “THOSE people are allowed to say it in their rap songs and talking about each other, but the Leader of the Free World can’t use it? You’re the real racist because you hate white people so much that you want to police their freedom of speech.”

1 million percent agreed. GOT surely stumbled some in the last two seasons, but it is still one of the crowning masterpieces in the history of television. Too many are missing the forest for a tree or two.

“Quite literally ANY of us could’ve come up with a more satisfying conclusion than this.”

I....actually liked the ending. I’m sort of shocked.

And with that, GOT comes to an end.

To be fair, the books make it quite clear that you have to balance ruthlessness with some sense of self-preservation.

Jon would absolutely pick that moment because he is incapable of not telling the truth. He’s been avoiding Dany and she’s come to confront him about it and his instinct is to be honest with her. He’s just like his adoptive father - honest to a fault.

Everyone sits there for a “trail” about someone killing Dany’s father and listens to her “righteous” anger and her brother’s violent revenge fantasies, but no one mentions that Dany’s father killed Sansa’s grandfather and uncle by torturing them both to death?

...And Cersei Lannister goes down in history as the savior of humanity, a paragon of virtue, humility, bravery, and strength.

In the middle ages, there is no set law. Basically politics comes down to, can you make a claim, and do you have the power or support of someone powerful to enforce it. One of the major themes of the series is where does legitimacy come from. Recall way back in season 2, Varys tells Tyrion the riddle about the King,

I assume the subtext is “I’m not comfortable seeing a 22 year-old woman who I’ve ‘known’ since she was a little girl get all sexy-time.”

Listen, all those characters, spare 3 or 4, will be dead in a week or two. Let’s enjoy every moment we have left with them, please?

Yeah, it’s easy to rail against Uber when you live in a city with an extensive (albeit decaying) subway system. The public transit options where I live (northern NM) are pretty weak. We have a solitary low-speed diesel heavy rail commuter line, which only does 7 full-service runs between Albuquerque and Santa Fe a day

I imagine that Zack is either part of the Philip Morris tobacco fortune or the child of some faceless corporate goon, and read SBTB as a critique of 1980s Reaganism and supply-side voodoo economics as the asshole rich Zack gaslit and ran circles around his multi-racial, lower-classed prey - er, I mean, ‘fellow

Hey! You are me! I was born in ‘78 so I remember this whole thing, but from the eyes of a kid/teenager. I remember thinking at this time, this is weird, but the court didn’t find him guilty so I guess everyone was lying! Now I refuse to watch that documentary because I know I am going to question 15/17 year old

Lol--”avocado toast” is one of those ridiculous appropriations. Like, people that come from places where avocados grow naturally have eaten “avocado toast” forever. It’s poor people food repackaged to rich people as though it’s some new invention and sold at a premium.

Just to keep the rhyme going...

Okay, I am not gonna say streaming isn’t a real job, but you do realize that describes almost every job ever, don’t you? Most of us are doing all of the things you just mentioned, for a fraction of the money and none of the fame.
