As a Seattleite, Chris Hansen’s SoDo arena plan is so much better. Fully privately financed, and not to mention KeyArena really fucks up traffic throughout the Queen Anne and South Lake Union neighborhoods of Seattle already when there’s events.

I believe it would be intentional grounding (unless thrown near a receiver). I think the out of the pocket thing only applies to QB’s (or whoever takes the snap anyway). Because I used to make this same argument and was told this.

Well yeah, you do have to be able to defend the QB run (which was a threat either way) but taking the receivers out of the play means you’ve got your front 7 needing to just stop one guy. I’d take those odds over taking your chances on that pass play.
